Jefferies Solicitors to Abseil the ArcelorMittal Orbit
June’s abseil was postponed because of Storm Hector, however, the event has been rescheduled for September 13th 2018. A team from Jefferies Solicitors will be travelling down to London to abseil from the UK’s largest sculpture, the ArcelorMittal Orbit, in support of Headway.
Joining other Headway supporters from across the country, we’ll be abseiling from the top of the 114-metre high structure to raise money for the UK’s leading brain injury charity.
Headway works across the country to improve life after brain injury. The organisation’s network of more than 125 branches promotes understanding of all aspects of brain injury and provides information and support to survivors, their families and carers.
As a corporate partner of the charity, at Jefferies, we have worked with Headway to raise money and awareness for many years. The sponsorship money we raise from the Orbit Abseil will go directly towards supporting Headway’s important work:
- £15 enables Headway to recruit and support one of their indispensable volunteers for a month
- £25 provides a family information pack to support people in the aftermath of a brain injury
- £30 helps run Headway’s national helpline for an hour
