Trainee Solicitor Joshua Morton Wins at Personal Injury Awards
We are thrilled to announce that one of our trainee solicitors, Josh Morton was crowned the winner of the Young Achiever of the Year Award at the Personal Injury Awards.
The Personal Injury Awards celebrated the excellence of individuals, teams and organisations from across the personal injury sector.
This year’s winners were celebrated at a glittering ceremony at the Hilton Deansgate in Manchester City Centre hosted by actor Ralf Little.
Josh fought off tough competition in a very strong category to win the award for Young Achiever. In a video played shortly before he was announced as the winner, the judges said that he had “impressed by achieving considerable impact for clients over a significant number of cases”. They also said that “there were excellent testimonials confirming a thoughtful and dedicated commitment to both clients and employer”.
Josh joined Jefferies as a paralegal in 2017, before beginning his training contract in September 2018. He works primarily within our serious injury team, assisting on cases involving significant head and brain injuries. He is due to qualify as a solicitor next Spring.
