Two nominations for Jefferies at the Personal Injury Awards

Two members of staff from Jefferies Solicitors have been shortlisted at the upcoming Personal Injury Awards 2019. Litigation Manager Crystal Collins is a finalist in the category of Lawyer of the Year, while Trainee Solicitor Joshua Morton is a finalist in the category of Young Achiever of the Year.

The Personal Injury Awards, now in their 12th year, recognise and celebrate the excellence of individuals and organisations across the personal injury sector. This year, the winners will be crowned at a prestigious ceremony at the Hilton in Manchester city centre on 27th November.

Crystal has worked as a personal injury fee earner for more than 20 years and joined the team at Jefferies in 2015. She specialises in personal injury claims, including serious injury claims, and handles mainly litigated cases. The claims she deals with are often complex and involve clients dealing with difficult personal circumstances. Her nomination comes following an extremely successful year in which she has settled a number of challenging cases for her clients.

Joshua joined Jefferies Solicitors in 2017 as a catastrophic injury paralegal. After just over a year at the firm, he was awarded a training contract and he is expected to qualify as a solicitor next year. Joshua works closely alongside some of our senior solicitors and assists on significant brain and spinal injury cases.

Managing director Michael Jefferies, comments on the nominations:

“I’m delighted that Crystal and Joshua have been shortlisted at this year’s Personal Injury Awards. They are both invaluable members of the firm and in their day-to-day work at Jefferies, they continually go above and beyond for our clients. I’m so pleased that their hard work and commitment is being formally recognised.”
