Over an 18-month period, the client suffered severe abdominal pain and suffering. Despite repeated medical appointments, medical professionals attributed the symptoms to other possible causes. The client’s pain and suffering were repeatedly dismissed until an x-ray revealed that the device was still in the patient and had been causing the pain and suffering.
