While working as warehouse operative manufacturing feminine hygiene products on a production line, Sean went to use the bathroom and slipped on some product, which had been spilt on the floor.
Rebekah Graham, who handled Sean’s warehouse accident claim said, “There was no warning sign near the slippery substance and the Claimant proceeded to fall and sustained a soft tissue injury to his back, neck and legs.
Sean required care and assistance for approximately 12 weeks following the accident. He was unable to cook, clean, carry out shopping or look after his son.
Liability was admitted by Church & Dwight UK Ltd as the company had been negligent in failing to ensure that the workplace was in an efficient state and in good repair.”
