    Circumstances

    The client was walking with a relative who was riding a horse. The client was walking on the roadside of the horse when a car came from behind and hit the client.

    Injuries

    Amongst other injuries and pain, the client suffered a bleed to the head and required a craniotomy, plus a fractured ankle. They were in the hospital for nearly 2 months and were unable to work following the accident.

    Settlement
