In April 2015, our client was finally diagnosed and taken for the brain surgery that she needed in order to help alleviate the symptoms of her brain tumour. She had been visiting the GP, complaining of symptoms for over a year but her GP had continued to misdiagnose her and she had not received the treatment that she needed.
A failure to properly diagnose and a build-up of fluid meant that our client suffered severe problems, such as complete deafness in her right ear, numbness to her face and tongue as well as shaky hands.
