I joined Jefferies as a receptionist nearly 10 years ago. My role as receptionist involved, amongst other things, taking calls and transferring them to the correct person, taking messages for those that are unavailable, dealing with deliveries, dealing with visitors and ensure they get a warm welcome and refreshments. I also helped out in the postroom, by dealing with incoming and outgoing post.
Before I started working at Jefferies I worked in retail and Health and Fitness. In my role in Health and Fitness, I was a receptionist supervisor on the main front desk. Greeting members dealing with queries class bookings etc. Also telephone bookings for classes, tennis courts membership enquiries on the switchboard.
At Jefferies, I now work in the back office in the main as an assistant to Crystal Collins. My role involves chasing clients for documents, applying for medical records, printing documents and getting bundles together for hearings and trials. I also assist Debbie where I can along with archiving and storage.
