Circumstances
In August 2019 our client was working in a restaurant putting hot curry sauce in a polystyrene cup. Our client went to put the lid on when the cup split, causing the hot curry sauce to spill over our client’s right hand. No PPE had been provided and the sauce was kept at too hot a temperature to be safe when serving.
Injuries
As a result of the accident, our client sustained burns to the right hand and possible scarring.
Settlement

The claim settled in December 2020 for £3,624.
