CIRCUMSTANCES
In April 2021, our client was closing the shutters to a café, the shutters were thick and made of heavy metal. One shutter became clogged, presumably on debris clogging the runner. As the client pulled it to free it, the shutter moved unexpectedly quickly causing our client’s left hand to be crushed between it and the adjacent shutter causing injury.
Our client suffered severe soft tissue damage.
SETTLEMENT
