Circumstances
The accident took place at a farm in June 2020 where the client was working as a herdsman. He had made his employer aware of the behavioural issues of one of the bulls and the employer had agreed that the bull was dangerous and arranged for the bull to be put down. The company that had been arranged to put the pull down did not turn up and a week later no attempts had been made to confine or restrain the bull. Whilst the client was working with the herd, the bull suddenly charged at the client causing injury and loss.
Injury
Following the accident the client suffered injury and loss including crush injuries, broken ribs and mobility issues. Following the accident, the client was unable to continue their work as a herdsman due to their injuries.
Settlement
